Overview

The leading master developer in the world, Nakheel, which has its global headquarters in Dubai, has presented a new plan for the Dubai Islands that would completely transform the concept of waterfront living. Plots on Dubai Islands (Old Deira Island) will be made available for purchase tomorrow, with a typical price of AED 175 per sq ft. The Dubai Islands, a group of five islands with a combined area of 17 square kilometers, were developed to improve both the quality of life for locals and visitors.

About 80 resorts and hotels, including luxury and wellness resorts, boutique, family-friendly, and eco-conscious hotels, will be built on the islands, according to a Nakheel statement, supporting Dubai's goal to expand the number of hotel keys.

Master Plan

According to Dubai's 2040 Urban Master Plan, the renamed Dubai Islands, formerly known as Deira Islands, will enhance the emirate's reputation as a top international destination for citizens, visitors, and investors. Location

The Dubai Islands are close to Dubai's northern coast and are easily reached by road bridges and watercraft from both the land and the ocean. The islands offer convenient access to Downtown Dubai, Jumeirah, Dubai Creek, and the Dubai International Airport.
